OnePlus was already testing Marshmallow update for OnePlus 2 and looks like the wait is over. The news broke on their forum yesterday when a staff member posted about OxygenOS 3.0.2 on OnePlus 2 which is the upgrade to Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 for the OnePlus 2 has started.

Incremental update will be OTA. Keeping checking the notification tab or force check for updates and you might receive it.
