Design

Asus Zenfone Max 32GB inherit the same design like every other phone in Asus Zenfone Series. This one has power button and volume buttons placed at accessible edge of the phone. I’m still unsure how did they did the massive 5,000mAh battery fit into a 10.55mm thin phone! Isn’t that something to cheer about? I wouldn’t bother about the design if the prime purpose of buying the phone is being handy and long battery life. Asus Zenfone Max has carved both the aspects of being a handy and power backed phone in a beautiful manner. Vouch for the designing team, must have took them a lot of time to fit that massive battery into this phone!

Display

Well, I’m in 2016 and still a 720p display? Seriously Asus? But things came shocking down when I played a video. The 5.5 inch inch IPS panel of 1280 x 720 resolution did its best with Corning Glass 4 protection. I’m sure this must have been so because a higher resolution display will eventually eat a lot more battery compared to 720p one. Hey! 720p isn’t that bad. I still choose 720p over 1080p while streaming on YouTube!

Camera

Camera quality don’t’ blow you away! The phone features 13 mega pixel rear camera which does take pretty decent shots in daylight. The 5 mega pixel front camera is quite good. The auto beautification mode will be loved by the Selfie addicts for sure! The features is turned on my default. haha Evil Asus!

Processor and Memory

Asus Zenfone Max is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor backed by 2GB of RAM. I installed around 40 odd apps on the phone and didn’t face any lag. Also multi-tasking was quite smooth. The phone will easily handle basic usage. Comes with internal storage of 32GB which is quite enough. And for those who have keep massive collection of videos and music with them, phone supports external micro SD card upto 64GB. Plug and Play!

Final Words

The phone has been priced at Rs. 9, 999 which is a very smart decision by Asus. The phone will be targeted to people who need huge battery life and travel often. I was joking around with my friends that I got my hands on power bank which has calling facility 😀 Considering the features and price tag this device holds, it will sell like hot cake!
