Xiaomi, Chinese smartphone manufacturer released Xiaomi Mi3 in India for Rs. 14,999. Yesterday, Asus entered the competition with launch of Asus Zenfone 5. Asus is yet to announce price for 16GB variant, 16GB has been priced Rs. 12,999 and the 8GB variant of Asus Zenfone 5 will sold at Rs. 9,999. It is expected that Asus Zenfone 5 16GB variant will be priced around Rs. 15,000. The price has been declared, and it is surely going to give good competition to Motorola Moto G and Xiaomi Mi3. They have a new competitor.

Xiaomi Mi3 is really good device look at the hardware and price.
Till yesterday I was opting for Zen5, but after looking at Mi3 the 13 MP camera, 1080 resolution, the processor, Battery 3050 Mah are making me opt for Mi3. Please put some light on Mi3 for any heating issues.
what about the service centers of Xiaomi in India. Where are the available? I am currently in Chennai.
They have started Service Center in all the major cities including Chennai.
After reading whole comparison, all i can say that Xiaomi Mi3 has great features and its going to rule indian market .

Xiaomi Mi3 runs on custom Android verison or MIUI. And I’m sure MIUI will surely launch Android L based version for Mi3

Xiaomi has limited service centers compared to Asus.
If you are a self-respected person go for ASUS Zenfone 5. If you consider only specification and price go for Xiaomi Mi3, but cover your face with a cloth.
Mi3 has gives you the option to use Normal or Perform (also have Conserve on older MIUI versions). Haven’t had any heating issues on normal use. And to be honest, the phone does not look cheap at all!
But do immediately take note if there are service centers near your place. On my case, the authentic Mi 3 I got had a defective camera, wherein the the photos I got are always noisy. The service center I’ve gone to was quick to fix it, so lucky for me.
