There is a good news for MTNL Mumbai users as MTNL has announced that minimum broadband speed bar will be raised up to 1Mbps for all its customers. With this mind blowing move, they also announced new broadband plans – Xpress+ Unlimited Plans.

As you can see, download speed after exceeding Fair Usage Policy (FUP) has been raised to 1Mbps. When other Internet Service Providers are offering 512Kbps, MTNL moved ahead and is now offering 1Mbps. Xpress+ Unlimited Broadband Plans are not truly unlimited plans.

- Existing Broadband Customers can continue in their existing plan or migrate to new plan of their choice.
- These are promotional plans for a period of 90 days effective from 12-11-2013.
- In combo plans Rent free Landline will be provided with no free calls and outgoing calls will charged at Re.1 per pulse(as per Landline 250 plan).
- Customer may also use Landline Add-on Packs for making landline calls.
- Customers who want Xpress+ plan alongwith their existing Landline plan may choose NonCombo plan.
- Monthly CPE(Modem) Charges for MTNL provided CPE: Rs. 50/-
- The data usage limit wherever mentioned includes downloads and uploads.
- Service Tax 12.36% extra.
