After a long wait, the first tablet of Google’s Nexus line of devices has finally come to India. It is also the first Nexus device to be officially launched in India. Google announced its first Nexus tablet in partnership with Taiwanese manufacturer, Asus in June 2012 during Google I/O. This launch still appears to be incomplete, Asus India website does mention Wi-fi + 3G model, but google.co.in/nexus/7/ shows just a Wi-fi only 16 GB model which is available for Rs 15,999. Wi-fi +3G model of the device can be bought through Ebay.in. It seems now even the 32 GB Wi-fi only model is now available via Google Play for Rs 18,999. However you can’t reach the ordering page for the 32 GB Wi-fi only model by just using your mouse! Link here: [Nexus 7 32 GB Wi-fi only ]. One will still have to wait for the 3G model to be available via Google Play.
