Automatic Extension of Plan Validity for 2G/3G Prepaid Mobile Customer

BSNL has announced Automatic Extension of Plan Validity for its 2G/3G Prepaid Mobile customers.

You can extend your validity by Top-Up, Online Recharge but there are some customers who miss this out and often find their numbers out-of-service. For such customers, BSNL has come up with automatic extension of plan validity. It is applicable for those who have sufficient balance left in their account on the last day of expiry.

BSNL subscriber will be reminded by SMS week before the expiry date. If customers fail to extend the validity, they fall under Grace period 1 and are again reminded to get their validity extended 2-3 days before the start of Grace Period 2 through SMS extension.

If customer does not take appropriate action during Grace Period 1, the plan validity of the customer will get automatically extended on the last day of Grace Period 1 by deducting plan voucher amount from the main account balance and will be informed via SMS.

Automatic Plan Extension is available for all voice and prepaid data plans for all the customers except Lifetime Plan subscribers.
