  1. Look like Motorola G 2nd Gen has a better hardware. I also read that Moto G has lots of satified customers too. The fact that it can be upgrade to Android Lollipop is an added bonus too. I am considering getting one myself.

    1. For Lollipop lovers… Zenfone will get lollipop too, surely after moto g… But benchmarks says, it’s worth waiting.

  2. Can someone with actual hardware knowledge help me? I don’t know if a dual core 2Ghz is better or worse than a quad core 1.2 Ghz. I know that theoretically quad core is faster, but what about this Ghz thing? And what about the chipset and gpu?

    1. The Asus hardware is better but if you watch video the hardware doesn’t make a huge difference. For example, the 2 gig ram doesn’t give you twice the performance. I’ve seen people agree the Asus is better at games, slightly better build and performance, but the battery and photo quality are lesser. For some being able to film in 1080P witht he asus is important, while the moto g has splash resistance.

Hardware wise they are different but performance wise they are fairly even, just depends on what you want most out of your phone.

    2. Dual core means two core/processor, quad means for. More ghz, more power.

But don’t get misguided there.. Asus zenfone is using Intel Hyper Threading technology which means single core perform similar to two cores.

So 2ghz dual core of zenfone is likely to perform better than quad core of moto g.

    3. The Asus zenfone 5 isn’t a dual core, its a multicore that can turn to quad and octa when its needed with the Hyper threading technology, 1.6 Ghz from Asus is better

  3. I have been using Asus Zenfone 5 (16GB) since more than couple of months now. Its working just wonderful. I have few of my frnds who are using the same phone for more than 5 months without any kind of issues.
Trust me its a value for money.
Camera quality…. is just amazing…. you will be amazed to explore different options available…
Processor…. no heating at all… no lags also…. never hangs for a sec
Battery life…. it lasts for more than 30 hours for me…. with a heavy internet usage and few hours of gaming…
ZenUI is also a treat to work on…

I would just suggest just go for it….

    1. Dear Vishal, I am confused on whether to buy ASUS Zenfone 5 or Moto G2. I heard from many people that, though the battery capacity of Zenfone 5 is higher than Moto G2, the battery life does not even last for one full day in case of Zenfone 5. Whereas you claim a battery life of 30 hours. Pls clarify on this.

  4. asus 5 very good mobile than moto g please consider me and less money than motog and worse service in moto g be aware friend
